What an inspiring day we had celebrating schools’ achievements at the Green School Awards on Friday. Well done to all our winners!
The Green School Awards are so important. They not only inspire children and schools to get involved but as we have seen they also inspire and help whole communities. I think the greatest outcome of the Green School Awards is that it is an opportunity to showcase the variety of ways everyone can get involved. It’s also not about just celebrating the big stuff because anything and everything we do has an impact, and so I would encourage all schools to tell us what they are doing – if we all do a little we can make a huge difference! So entries for 2023 will open soon and we’d love to hear from every education establishment in the county!
